NFL WEEK #13 2010

What a tangled web we weave....
Two weeks in a row Shoe's corner goes 7-9 ATS; dropping to 57.6% on the year ATS. Mind you, that is picking every game ATS!! Really not too shabby, but not SHOE WORTHY...this week Shoe gets back on track!

First let's have a little talk about the NFL this year....it's a freaking soap opera, and I'm getting sick of it. Derek Anderson, there is no laughing in football- NONE!! Bill Parcell's=Quitter!! Minnesota Fans, seriously you should try to be a Cleveland Browns fan for a day!! Titans...Rusty? Seriously, "Look kids, Big Ben!!"
Prepare this week to be stunned folks- it's upset Sunday!!

HOUS@PHILLY-8.5 - There is absolutely no way Philly loses this game. Houston beat Rusty, Philly beats the Texans in an epic broke back love affair; Vick shove in it the wrong hole here! PHILLY41-HOUS17

BUFF@MINN-6.5 - Is it me, or are the Bills one of the best 2-9 teams you have ever seen? Every week they compete, now if only they could play a team whose QB is a drama Queen! Whammo!! BUFF28MINN24

CLEVE@MIA-4.5 - Jake Delhomme stinks, Miami stinks at home; who stinks worse? Shoe really wants to take Miami here in his eliminator, but really does not want another heart attack this weekend.... MIA24-CLEVE16

JAX@TENN-3 - Don't be surprised if Jax ends up the favorite here. Trusty Rusty is n ot the answer... JAX24-TEN17

DEN@KC-9 - Number Nine, Number Nine, Number Nine...WTF?!? What kind of divisional game we talking here?!? KC34-DEN23

WASH@NYG-7 - All points bulletin for Eli Manning, if you have seen this missing person, please call the NYPD. Please be aware that the primary suspect is Donovan McNabb- armed and dangerous... Whammo!! WASH20-NYG17

CHIC-3@DET - Yet another 2-9 team that does not deserve its' record!! That being said, Detroit finds a way every week to quit in the fourth quarter. Not this week, as Cutler will help them stay charged up with a couple/tree picks and one for a six!! Whammo!! DET17-CHIC9

SF@GBAY-9 - GBAY lost a tough one at Atlanta this week, and Shoe expects some vengeance in this one. SF might hang for a little while, but once the dust comes off the Packers they run away with it... GBAY27-SF20

NO-7@CINCY - No expectations here from Cincy, but buyer beware on the Saints!! Whammo!! CINCY35-NO31

OAK@SD-13.5 - Oakland has shown promise this year, but they look like their running out of steam. Can they pull off a huge upset at SD? Shoe say no whammo here, although the points are enticing.... SD21-OAK10

ATL-3@TBAY - Kudos to the TB Buccaneers for a fantastic 1st half of the season. Who'd a thunk it?!? Atlanta will find themselves in a tough one this week, but Matty Ice is growing into his stardom.... ATL24-TBAY20

CAR@SEAT-6 - All you LOSERS out there think the Panthers are the eliminator loser of the week, get bent!! READ IT AND WEEP....WHAMMO!! CAR20-SEAT17

DALL@INDY-5.5 - Tough call here...Indy is a one man team, but unfortunately that one man can not rise to the occasion every week. Obviously in the world of the NFL, anything can happen, at any time...Shoe says the 12th man plays a big role in this game, while the fans realize old man Kitna has run his course... INDY34-DALL17

STL-3.5@ARIZ - Similar situation in this game in comparison to the CAR/SEAT game, however one difference is the visitor is favored. Shoe does not know why, except for the fact that the Cardinals looked atrocious on prime time Monday Night against the Niners, Derek Anderson please don't laugh, 'cause Shoe says Whammo!! PITT@BALT-3.5 - The Steelers found themselves in deep trouble last week, as they overlooked the Bills, knowing this game against The Ravens on Prime Time is for "the prize"!! Baltimore has been a strange bird this season, and doesn't have what it takes to beat the newly focused Steelers... Whammo!! PITT24-BALT13

***Special note from Shoe... While there are many lines yet to be set, and quite of few injuries to be sorted out, Shoe Corner may change prior to Sunday's Games. Also in the future, look for Shoe's "Bet the House" locks, in which he has gone 7-1 this season, but unfortunately have not been posted that way, however, they have been posted in combination with MYB NFL Plays, which have been successful with an overall 25-20 record this year. Shoe's "Bet the House" locks come few and far between, and are not weekly, nor are single plays, but sometimes come in twos and threes at a time... GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!
