MILWAUKEE @ CLEVELAND (-9.5)

The Bucks have not had much luck beating the Cavaliers in recent years, however, they have not gone down easy. Milwaukee has cover 8 of 12 in the series including 5 of the last 6. The Bucks have been just about the hottest team in the league winning 17 of their last 21 straight up, not to mention, they are one of the better ATS teams this year having compiled a 46-26-1 record. Cleveland should be without 6th man Anderson Varejao for the second straight game tonight and with Shaq still out the Bucks Andrew Bogut should have a big enough night to keep Milwaukee close.

TAKE MILWAUKEE +9.5

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

Last nights board proved tough as I thought it might with 3 of the 5 games falling within one basket of the number. Tonight we have 13 games slated, so I am hopeful we can find at least one solid play. I will begin working on it and update you later.

-CJ

Tuesday, March 30, 2010

TUESDAY UPDATE #2

Sorry guys, nothing is falling in line tonight so it looks like a no play day. If something should emerge I will post it. Have a good night.

-CJ

TUESDAY UPDATE

Well, every once in a while they make you look like you know what your doing. As expected, the Spurs were sluggish and not only did the Nets cover, they won outright. There are 5 more games on the board tonight. I will get back to you via an update later as usual.

-CJ

Monday, March 29, 2010

SAN ANTONIO (-8) @ NEW JERSEY

The Spurs have played Oklahoma City, LA Lakers, Cleveland and Boston in succession. Those teams have a combined record of 209-89. That is a long stretch of games that require 100% effort and energy. Look for a possible let down performance tonight against the lowly Nets. San Antonio is also playing back to back and Ginobli is a late scratch tonight with a back injury.

-TAKE NEW JERSEY +8

MONDAY UPDATE

There are 5 games scheduled for tonight. I have begun looking them over and hope to be able to find something as opportunities the last few days have been scarce. I will update later this afternoon.

-CJ

Sunday, March 28, 2010

SUNDAY UPDATE #2

Even with all these games today I am hard pressed to find an edge. Many games are mared by illness or injuries making things more difficult. So far, no plays. There are games later tonight, if anything develops into a play I will post it.

-CJ

SUNDAY UPDATE

We are back on line! There are a lot of games on the board with the time slots spread throughout. I have already begun to look at the games and will update by early afternoon.

-CJ

Saturday, March 27, 2010

SATURDAY UPDATE

I am updating today from another computer, I am experiencing some technical difficulties from my own hub. I am attempting to correct the problem as quickly as possible. There are five games on the schedule tonight, hopefully I will be able to post a play later today. Thanks you for your patience.

-CJ

Thursday, March 25, 2010

THURSDAY UPDATE #2

After looking over the 3 games on the schedule, I could not really find enough of an edge. The Bulls made the short list as they have won 7 of 8 SU and 5 of 6 ATS versus the Heat in Chicago. As much as I look at these kinds of trends, they are not the sole basis for my plays and there was not much else to go on here so no plays tonight. We will reconvene tomorrow. Have a good night.

-CJ

THURSDAY UPDATE

They should all be that easy. Utah led comfortably at the end of each quarter on their way to 26 point victory. The win makes us 5-1 in our last 6 games. Like I have said before, there are going to be losing streaks like we encountered not long ago. This shows why you must not panic and "double up" or try to bet too many games in an effort to play catch up. If you are serious about making money wagering you have to except that it is a grind, not a get rich quick scheme. Okay, enough with the speech. There are only three games on the board tonight, I will take a long look and update you late this afternoon.

-CJ

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

UTAH (-3.5) @ TORONTO

Utah has been one of the best teams in the NBA this year ATS. The Jazz are 13-5-1 in their last 19 road games and are 5-0 ATS in the 5 match-ups versus Toronto. The Raptors, meanwhile, are 0-5 ATS in the five at home and have covered only 1 of the last 5 at home against Utah. The Jazz find themselves in a dog fight for top seeding in the Western Conference and should be ready to play.

-TAKE UTAH -3.5

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

We have now hit 4 of the last 5 as the Knicks won outright over Denver as a 7 point dog. We will try to keep the good times rolling tonight. There are 11 games on the board, so check back later today for at least one play. The site should be updated by 5:00pm. Have a good day.

-CJ

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

DENVER (-7) @ NEW YORK

The Nuggets have been very ordinary ATS this year, on the road that number is 14-16-4. The Knicks have been very competitive lately winning 3 of their last 5. Alas, Denver tends to play down to competition at times and may be laying a bit too much tonight. On a side note, I was very tempted to play against the Mavs again at home as they are laying 10 to the Clippers. Unfortunately LA is just not playing well enough for me to wager on them in this situation.

-TAKE NEW YORK +7

TUESDAY UPDATE

The Bulls gave us a solid 10 point victory last night for our 3rd win in the last 4 tries. Tonight there are only 4 games scheduled and one of those has the Mavericks at home, do we dare? I will take a look at the lines and update later. Have a good day.

-CJ

Monday, March 22, 2010

HOUSTON @ CHICAGO (-2)

Houston travels to Chicago for the second of back to back road games, after defeating the Knicks in New York last night. The Bulls meanwhile broke a 10 game losing streak by beating Philadelphia in Philly Saturday night. The Bulls who have been ravaged by injuries to 3 starters got 2 of them back in that game in Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah. I think a healthier Bulls team at home tonight can take advantage of a very average ATS Rocket team that is dealing with the back to back road situation.

- TAKE CHICAGO -2

MONDAY UPDATE

Portland took a 4 point lead into the 4th quarter and hung on to cover for us. We have lost a few games by a 1/2 point, so we will not apologize for last night's cover. The win puts us back to 10 games over .500 for the year. I believe there are 8 games on the board tonight, so expect an update later this afternoon.

-CJ

Sunday, March 21, 2010

PORTLAND @ PHOENIX (-6.5)

Portland has had the Suns number recently winning 4 of the last 5 meetings SU. The Blazers have won 5 straight games and are one of the best road teams ATS this year covering 22 of 34 and most recently are 11-4 in their last 15 on the road contest. The Suns have been playing well also as of late, but I find it tough to pass up the points with what the Blazers have done on the road this year.

-TAKE PORTLAND +6.5

SUNDAY UPDATE

The Celtics seem to have found the fountain of youth, just when everyone was writing them off they start playing inspired basketball. As for the Mavericks, they continue to be the worst home team in the league ATS. In fact, if you just wagered against Dallas at home this year you would be hitting at a 80% clip and be up an astounding 20.3 units! Shame on me for fighting that trend last night. I will begin looking at today's schedule and update the site shortly as there are a few afternoon contest today.

-CJ

Saturday, March 20, 2010

BOSTON @ DALLAS (-4)

Say it isn't so. I am actually wagering on Dallas to cover at home. Well, it has to happen one of these days. Tonight they face the Celtics, who despite putting together three straight victories, look old and tired and will have to play back to back after defeating the Rockets in Houston last night. With the Mavs laying only 4, I think they may end the ATS drought at home tonight.

-TAKE DALLAS -4

Friday, March 19, 2010

FRIDAY UPDATE

It's hard to believe with all these games on the board tonight, I can find no edge. Check back tomorrow for updates and hopefully something will stand out. Have a great weekend.

-CJ

Thursday, March 18, 2010

THURSDAY UPDATE #2

With only two games on the board I can not find a viable play. We will enjoy our two wins last night for another 24 hours and try again tomorrow. Have a good night.

-CJ

THURSDAY UPDATE

Well, that's more like it. We did not hit the trifecta but hit on 2 out of 3 and I'll take that everyday. My only regret is not betting against Dallas at home again last night where they failed to cover yet again, despite another win. I will take a look at the usually light Thursday schedule and see if we can find anything. Check back later, as usual.

-CJ

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

MILWAUKEE @ LA CLIPPERS

The Clippers are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 home games and Milwaukee has not fared well in LA in recent years only winning 1 game in their last 9 trips.

-TAKE LA CLIPPERS (+6)

SAN ANTONIO @ ORLANDO (-7)

San Antonio has been red hot and is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games, meanwhile the Magic are only 3-6 SU in the last 9 at home against the Spurs. Seven points may be a bit too much.

-TAKE SAN ANTONIO (+7)

NEW JERSEY @ PHILADELPHIA (-6.5)

The schedule makers have not been kind to the Nets. They go right back on the road after returning home from a long west coast road trip. I think Philly gets back on the winning track tonight.

- TAKE PHILADELPHIA -6.5

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

TUESDAY UPDATE #2

After a long look, I see no viable plays. Many large spreads, which will be very typical going forward. We will try again tomorrow.

-CJ

TUESDAY UPDATE

Another day another loss for us. Trend information is becoming unreliable, mostly in part I believe to the end of the year "pack it in". Fact is, in the NBA the only way to rebuild quickly is to get a top five pick in the draft and that causes many teams to become, let's stay, disinterested in winning. This has snuck up on us quickly and I should have realized sooner. We have to be careful wagering on some of these teams into the end of the year. Check back later today for updates on tonight's possible selections.

-CJ

Monday, March 15, 2010

WASHINGTON @ UTAH (-11)

Could be a tough spot for Utah returning home after a 4 game road trip, where they played 4 games in 6 days, without a day off. Washington has been busy as well after having to play 3 straight days because of the make up game with the Hawks that was snowed out, however, they played their last game at home and did have a day off yesterday. The Wizards have covered 5 of their last 6 in Utah.

-TAKE WASHINGTON +11

MONDAY UPDATE

The losing skid continues as the Celtics continue to look like they will not be a factor in the playoffs, they look old and slow. This is the longest losing streak we have endured this year. We had a large cushion on the upside and we will recover. There are six games on the slate tonight, so check in later for updates.

-CJ

Sunday, March 14, 2010

BOSTON @ CLEVELAND (-7.5)

It's put up or shut up time for the Celts and I expect a focused Boston team will show up in Cleveland and try to avenge the 20 point beat down the Cavs delivered in the Garden back on Feb. 25th. Cleveland is only 13-19 at home ATS while the Celtics have fared much better on the road ATS than at home. I expect a close game, with the Cavs laying a couple baskets to many.

-TAKE BOSTON +7.5

Saturday, March 13, 2010

SATURDAY UPDATE #2

I have looked at all the games tonight and nothing looks appealing. I looked hard at the under in TOR/GS with the total set at 232, but will lay off. We will try again tomorrow.

-CJ

SATURDAY UPDATE

The losing skid continues as nothing seems to stop the Portland Trail Blazers these days. We have seven more games scheduled for this evening. Losing streaks are difficult, but things will get back on track. I will update late this afternoon. Have a great day.

-CJ

Friday, March 12, 2010

PORTLAND (-2) @ SACRAMENTO

The schedule has been tough on the Blazers as they have not been home very often as of late. Alternating home and away games after a long road trip and a tough game last night in Oakland against the Warriors, where they had to come back from 13 pts. down in the 4th to pull it out may finally catch up with them tonight in Sacramento. The Kings have been competitive as of late going 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games.

-TAKE SACRAMENTO +2

FRIDAY UPDATE

When it rains it pours. We suffered our second loss this week by 1 point or less as the Blazers took care of business on the road once again winning by 5, unfortunately we were laying 6. Back to work today. With 12 games on the board we should manage to find a play.

-CJ

Thursday, March 11, 2010

PORTLAND(-6) @ GOLDEN STATE

The Warriors are reeling and are back home for the first game after an extended road trip. As we have discussed here, this is one of my favorite set-ups. The Blazers have covered 10 of their last 13 on the road and are a juicy 20-11-1 ATS on the road this year.

-TAKE PORTLAND -6

THURSDAY UPDATE

Too bad we did not have New Jersey as an official play last night as the Mavs continued to win but not cover. There are three games tonight, one of which can develop into a play so stay tuned for an update later this afternoon.

-CJ

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

WEDNESDAY UPDATE #2

Sorry for the late post, I was having some technical difficulties. No harm done as I found no viable plays tonight. We will update again tomorrow. By the way, New Jersey was very close to a play going with the trend that they have covered 5 straight on the road and Dallas being a meager 7-23-1 ATS at home. The game tips in 20 minutes for those of you desperate for a play. For our purposes, we will lay off.

-CJ

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

A tough one last night as we lost by a half point. Hopefully someone out there was able to find a +2 line to manage a push. By now you should see that this is a grind, as we are in the midst of a small losing streak after a little winning streak, so it goes. I will take a look tonight's lines and report back later.

-CJ

Tuesday, March 9, 2010

BOSTON @ MILWAUKEE

The Bucks have been red-hot lately winning 9 of their last 10 and are one of the better teams ATS this year with a 40-21 record. However, many of those came as a dog and tonight they face the Celtics as 1.5 point favorite. The Celtics have lost the lines makers respect in recent weeks, this spells opportunity for us. The Celts meantime have been much better ATS on the road than at home and have won 4 straight. Milwaukee has lost 7 of the last 8 SU in the series.

-TAKE BOSTON +1.5

TUESDAY UPDATE

Well, my analysis could not have been more off last night as both teams combined to score 266 points. The good news is, it still only counts as one loss and we move on. With 8 games tonight we should be provided an opportunity. I will begin researching and update later.

-CJ

Monday, March 8, 2010

GOLDEN ST. @ NEW ORLEANS (215.5)

Six of the last seven in this series played in New Orleans have gone under. Both teams are banged up and Golden St. is at the tail end of a long road trip. Warrior totals are always set high, were banking on some sloppy play tonight.

-TAKE GS/NO UNDER 215.5

MONDAY UPDATE

We got clipped last night as the Blazers could not overcome a poor 1st quarter at Denver. We have 5 games tonight and I will start looking at them this afternoon. Check back for updates.

-CJ

Sunday, March 7, 2010

PORTLAND @ DENVER (-7)

Portland has not fared well in Denver over the last several years winning only 1 out the last 5 ATS. However, I am going to favor more recent history here. The Blazers have covered 5 of the last 6 on the road and Denver has covered only 1 of their last 5 games. Portland is an impressive 20-10-1 on the road this year, while Denver is only one game above .500 ATS at home.

-TAKE PORTLAND +7

SUNDAY UPDATE

We nailed our third straight with another dog winning outright as the Nets pounded the Knicks by 20 in Madison Square Garden. The Knicks when 0-18 from 3pt range, ouch. There are 6 games scheduled for today starting with a noon tip and ending with a west coast affair, so check back often for updates.

-CJ

Saturday, March 6, 2010

NEW JERSEY @ NEW YORK (-8.5)

It is a tough board tonight, however, I think we may have a play on the lowly Nets. The Knicks are just 1-5 SU in their last 6 home games while the Nets are 5-0-1 in their last six on the road. The Knicks play well in spots but I will take advantage anytime I see them laying these kind of points.

-TAKE NEW JERSEY +8.5

SATURDAY UPDATE

We stayed on the winning path with our 2nd straight victory as Sacramento, who led at the half, overcame a terrible third quarter to hang on and cover. Dallas has won 10 straight, but is no only 7-23-1 ATS at home. We have 9 games on the board tonight, I will begin looking them over and update the site later this afternoon. Have a great weekend.

-CJ

Friday, March 5, 2010

SACRAMENTO @ DALLAS (-9)

Dallas remains the worst home team ATS in the league with a 7-22 mark. Making things more challenging for them is 6th man scoring machine Jason Terry will be out for a while after facial surgery stemming from a collision with Corey Brewer Wednesday night. The Kings meantime have won 3 of their last 4 and are 4-1 ATS in the last 5.

-TAKE SACRAMENTO +9

FRIDAY UPDATE

Every once in a while they go pretty much as planned. Zach Randolph beat up on the Bulls with 31 pts. and 18 boards as Memphis improved to 18-13 ATS on the road winning outright as a six point dog. We have a full slate tonight, so be sure to check back for updates.

-CJ

Thursday, March 4, 2010

MEMPHIS @ CHICAGO (-6)

Memphis heads to Chicago with a 17-13 record on the road ATS. The Bulls will be without big man Joakim Noah and possibly Luol Deng who is day to day with a bum knee. Without Noah and possibly Deng Chicago will have their hands full with the Grizzlies Zach Randolph. Add to this, Derrick Rose sat out practice Wednesday with a sore knee as well. I will put this one in early in case late player scratches by the Bulls drop the line.

-TAKE MEMPHIS +6

THURSDAY UPDATE

Well, if you going to lose you might as well go down in flames. Neither the Pistons nor the Pacers were competitive last night. I have talked about the inevitable losing streaks and although we have not strung together many losses in a row, we have been only average as of late. We are still in good shape being up 9 units for the year. We will remain business like, stick to the plan, and go back to work today. I will update later this afternoon.

-CJ

Wednesday, March 3, 2010

INDIANA @ PORTLAND (-9)

We have another nice set-up here with Portland returning home after a very long road trip and not much time off. What makes this one more interesting is that the Pacers have won 4 of the last 5 in Portland SU and have covered all 5 ATS with the only SU loss coming by 2 points. It is always tough betting on bad teams, but this fairly reliable set-up presents itself so we will jump on board.

-TAKE INDIANA +9

DETROIT @ NEW YORK (-4)

Despite not having much to show for it the Pistons have been very competitive during their current skid, meanwhile, I think the Knicks are overtaking the Nets for the worst team in the league. New York has lost 9 of the last 10.

-TAKE DETROIT +4

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

The Celtics pulled away late and covered by a hair last night. Depending on where and when you got your line, you may have pushed. I will go over the lines this afternoon and expect to post at least one play later. Stay tuned for updates.

-CJ

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

BOSTON @ DETROIT

The Celtics catch the Pistons on their first game back from a 4 game west coast swing, normally a tough spot for the home team. Boston has not played well as of late, this would be an advantageous spot for them to get back on track.

-TAKE BOSTON -4.5

TUESDAY UPDATE

We had a set back last night with Memphis blowing a 12 point half time lead, so its back to work today. Tonight's schedule is light with only 4 games slated. At a quick glance, one or two games may be worth a good look. I'll update later today.

-CJ

Monday, March 1, 2010

PORTLAND @ MEMPHIS

Portland winds up a long road trip at Memphis tonight and may be on their last leg. Memphis has been solid at home and will actually be a slight underdog. I like them in this spot.

-TAKE MEMPHIS +1.5

MONDAY UPDATE

We split our two yesterday, however, depending on where you got your line on NO/DAL, you may have pushed. There is a pretty full slate tonight, so there is a good chance we may have a play tonight. As always, check back for further updates and plays.

-CJ
