TEXAS A&M @ OKLAHOMA ST. (-2.5)

-TAKE OKLAHOMA ST. -2.5

THURSDAY UPDATE

Texas A&M takes a road trip to Oklahoma St. tonight. We are currently looking at the game and will post before the 7:30 kick should we find an edge.

MONDAY UPDATE #2

No play on tonight's game. Have a good week. We will be back to update for the weeknight college contests.

-CJ

MONDAY UPDATE

We lost our first NFL game of the year yesterday as Manning and the Giants handed one to the Titans turning the ball over twice inside the five yard line. This capped a rare bad week here at MYB. We are undaunted and ready to go at it again this week. We are currently looking at the Monday Night Bears/Packers tilt and will update later.

TENNESSEE @ NY GIANTS (-3)

-TAKE NY GIANTS -3

SUNDAY UPDATE

Well, it was one of those days. You do this long enough, they happen. We went 2-4. We had no less than four pick sixes go against, a couple late in the game that cost us wins. Back to work today in the NFL. We should have at least one play. Stay tuned for an update before the 1pm kicks.

FRIDAY UPDATE

We started off the week with a loss as Pitt failed to show up against Miami. We will pass on TCU/SMU tonight and get ready for the full slate tomorrow. We will update in the morning.

-CJ

Thursday, September 23, 2010

MIAMI (-4) @ PITTSBURGH

The Hurricanes go on the road for a big Thursday night game against the Panthers. We find 78% of the bettors on the Canes in a game where I think you can make the case they should not even be favored. Pitts loss came on the road in OT against a very good Utah squad and remember the Panthers were a pre-season ranked #15. Miami could be out to prove they are better than they showed at Ohio St. the last time out, but a Thursday night trip to Heinz Field will make it tough for the Canes.

-TAKE PITT +4

MID-WEEK UPDATE

Two weeknight games in NCAA FB this week featuring some high profile teams. We are currently taking a hard look at Miami/Pitt Thursday Night and will update are findings late tomorrow afternoon. Have a good Thursday.

NEW ORLEANS (-5) @ SAN FRANCISCO

Sorry for the late note, but we went down to the wire with this one and it is a "no play."

Sunday, September 19, 2010

MONDAY UPDATE

A good end to our Sunday with the Colts an easy winner over the Giants. The win gave us a 2-0 record for our Sunday and a total of 5-2 for the weekend so far. We will continue to look at the Saints/49ers match up Monday night for an edge.

-CJ

NY GIANTS @ INDIANAPOLIS (-4)

-TAKE INDIANAPOLIS -4

SUNDAY UPDATE #3

No plays at 4pm, but we are looking hard at this evenings Giants/Colts game. We will get an update out on that before the 8:20 kick.

-CJ

SUNDAY UPDATE #2

We continue to look at the late kicks for possible plays so check back in before 4pm.

-CJ

PITTSBURGH @ TENNESEE (-6)

Pittsburgh still has to deal with life without Big Ben for a couple more weeks and will be without LT Max Starks, however, if Dixon can manage the game as he did last week we think this one is decided by less than a TD. A little too much respect for the Titans after a week one victory over the lowly Raiders, we think so.

-TAKE PITTSBURGH +6

SUNDAY UPDATE

We ended up with a decent week in the college ranks, going 3-2. Hawaii's second half meltdown, and having to give up the hook on the Spartans cost the other loss. We should have some action in the NFL tomorrow, so check in before the 1pm kicks.

NAVY (-3) @ LOUISIANA TECH

-TAKE NAVY -3

SATURDAY UPDATE

We are looking at a couple of the later kicks as well. We will post final plays for the day by 6:30pm.

HAWAII @ COLORADO (-14)

Hawaii should be able to put up enough points against a poor Colorado team to keep this one close.

-TAKE HAWAII +14

MARYLAND @ WEST VIRGINIA (-10)

We are going against the grain on this one. The bettors have hammered Maryland taking the opening line from 13.5 down to 10. Everyone seems to be jumping on the Terrapins after a 2-0 start. I am not drinking the Kool-Aid yet. The Mountaineers may have a bit to prove themselves, but I will roll the dice with West V.

-TAKE WEST VIRGINIA -10

Friday, September 17, 2010

FRIDAY UPDATE #2

We have looked over both games extensively and decided it is best to stay away from them. We will be back in force tomorrow with a full slate of games, be sure to check in.

-CJ

FRIDAY UPDATE

An easy winner last night as The WolfPack took care of The Bearcats. We are currently looking at both of tonight's game an will update later.

Thursday, September 16, 2010

CINCINNATI @ NC STATE (-2)

-TAKE NC STATE -2

THURSDAY UPDATE

One game tonight in NCAA FB as Cincinnati visits NC State. We continue to look at this one and will post an update before game time. There are also two more games on the schedule tomorrow night with Kansas visiting So. Miss and Cal traveling to Nevada, stay tuned.

-CJ

Monday, September 13, 2010

MONDAY UPDATE

Two Monday night games and I can not get an edge on either, so we will pass for tonight. NCAA FB starts this week with one game on Thursday and two on Friday. We are currently looking at those and will post an update mid-week. Enjoy the games tonight.

-CJ

Sunday, September 12, 2010

SUNDAY UPDATE

Green Bay held off a late run by the Philly to cover our lone bet for Sunday. Although we did not find a ton of wagers, the win gave a nice weekend, going 3-1 and I will take that anytime its offered. So far, I see no play on either of the Monday night games, but if something changes I will post. As always check back for updates.

-CJ

GREEN BAY (-3) @ PHILADELPHIA

A very tough board for Week 1 in the NFL. Many of the doormats the last few years will be improved and handicapping that early poses some problems. Those of you in eliminator pools may even find it a little dicey picking a winner straight up this week. There is one game that stands out to us:

- TAKE GREEN BAY -3

Saturday, September 11, 2010

SATURDAY UPDATE

After a rough start that saw the Florida St. get hammered by Oklahoma, we followed up with two easy victories with Cal blowing out Colorado and Liberty winning outright as a 10.5 point dog. The way it looks now, we will have at least two NFL plays tomorrow. Be sure to check in for updates.

-CJ

LIBERTY @ BALL STATE (-10.5)

-TAKE LIBERTY +10.5

COLORADO @ CALIFORNIA (-10)

-TAKE CAL -10

FLORIDA ST. @ OKLAHOMA (-7)

We are looking at several of the 3:30 kicks. We can tell you now we like the Seminoles. We will post the other play(s) as they become available.

-TAKE FLORIDA ST. +7

Friday, September 10, 2010

FRIDAY UPDATE

There are two NCAA games on the slate tonight and neither represents a good opportunity. We took a hard look at West Virginia, but too many cross currents in this game that can't be handicapped.

We will have several plays this weekend, starting tomorrow in NCAA FB as well as NFL. As the schedule gets into full swing you may notice a lack of commentary for the individual games, as it gets quite hectic handicapping a full schedule. Tune in tomorrow before noon as we will begin to post Saturday plays.

-CJ

Thursday, September 9, 2010

THURSDAY UPDATE #2

Sorry no plays tonight. Two more NCAA contest tomorrow we are currently looking at. Check back for updates.

THURSDAY UPDATE

There are two games on the board tonight. The NFL kicks off with Minnesota @ New Orleans and in NCAA action Auburn travels to Starkville to take on Mississippi St. We continue to look at each game and will post a play before kick-off if we see the opportunity.

-CJ

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

TUESDAY UPDATE

Games like yesterdays Navy/Maryland game prove why hitting a little over .500 is a rousing success in the world of handicapping. Navy ran 84 plays to Maryland's 39 and was in the red zone on 7 of their 9 possessions. Add to that, they were turned back on 4 separate occasions inside the 2 yard line. The season is a marathon and not a sprint so we will march on to the next opportunity. The NFL Season kicks off Thursday night and we have a full slate of both NFL and NCAA action this weekend. Stay tuned.

-CJ

Monday, September 6, 2010

NAVY (-6) @ MARYLAND

Navy has made 7 straight bowl appearances and should make is 8 this year. Senior QB Patrick Dobbs returns for the Midshipmen and should give Maryland fits with the Triple Option offense. Unless the Terps have some rabbits in their hat I am not aware of, they are headed for another dismal season.

-TAKE NAVY -6

MONDAY UPDATE

There are two games on the board today. The big one features Boise St. and Virginia Tech. We can't get an edge on this one and as tempting as it is we will pass. Navy will take on Maryland in the other game and we are currently taking a hard look at this one. Expect an update in a few hours, this game kicks at 4:00pm. Enjoy your Labor Day Holiday.

-CJ

Sunday, September 5, 2010

SUNDAY UPDATE

As we expected, Oregon St. gave TCU all it could handle last night covering the double digit spread. There are two games scheduled for today and at this time we have not deciphered an edge on either game. Two more games are on the slate for tomorrow and we are currently looking those over. As always, check back with us in case anything develops.

-CJ

Saturday, September 4, 2010

OREGON ST. @ TCU (-13)

Last year TCU flew under the radar as they ran the table before losing to Boise St. in the Fiesta Bowl. I expect another great season for QB Andy Dalton and the Horned Frogs, however, they will not sneak up on anyone this year. The Beavers return electric play makers Jaquizz and James Rodgers and should contend for the PAC 10 title this year with USC and Oregon. Maybe just a little too much respect for TCU coming of a fantastic season last year.

-TAKE OREGON ST. +13

SATURDAY UPDATE

No plays so far today on the early games. We are looking at TCU/OregonSt later this evening and may have a play. We will update later this afternoon.

-CJ

Friday, September 3, 2010

FRIDAY UPDATE #2

There are only two games on the board tonight in NCAA FB and neither looks appealing at all. We are currently working on Saturday games, check back tomorrow morning for any updated action.

-CJ

FRIDAY UPDATE

We lost our initial play last night as The Golden Gophers scored late in the fourth quarter to edge The Blue Raiders. We are looking at games tonight as well as the full slate on Saturday and will post if anything looks appealing.

MINNESOTA (-2) @ MIDDLE TENN.ST.

Heavy percentage betting on Minnesota, yet the line moving down. I think the better QB pulls this one out at home.
