THURSDAY UPDATE/ SPECIAL NOTE

Well we ended the regular season with a push. Unfortunately some of our followers may have encountered a loss as the line dropped a couple points throughout the day, which is hard to fathom considering the Spurs sat their regulars while the Mavericks played their starters. We finished the season profitable, up over 7 units on our NBA plays and 11.8 units overall for the year.

I do not expect to post any NBA playoff picks because the trends that exist during the regular season are non existent at playoff time. Also, I do not expect to post baseball picks. I will take the summer to refresh the batteries and we will come back full steam into football season.

Thank you for your patronage. Have a great summer. See you in late August.

SAN ANTONIO @ DALLAS (-7)

What a way to end our regular season NBA wagering, with one more chance to go against the worst home team ATS in the league. The Mavs will bring their 9-29-1 home ATS record into tonight's game versus the Spurs. Dallas will be laying 7 points, how can we pass up the chance.

-TAKE SAN ANTONIO +7

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

It is our last chance to come up with win number 50 on the NBA season. We have guaranteed ourselves a 6+ unit year, meaning a $100 player is up over $600, not a bad return on your entertainment dollars. Further more, if you also were in on my NCAA FB plays, you are up over $1100. Not a bad return for the last 4 months or so. I will begin looking over the lines and hopefully have a play for us later.

TUESDAY UPDATE #2

Once again I can't find a viable play. I hate not posting plays but it beats just throwing your money away. Tomorrow is the last day of the regular season, hopefully we will be able to find something. Have a good night.

-CJ

TUESDAY UPDATE

There are only 4 games on the schedule tonight, I will dig through them the best I can to see if I can come up with an edge. Wednesday is the final day of the season and there are several games slated. We will be doing good if we can come up with 1-2 plays to finish the regular season.

MONDAY UPDATE #2

Sorry guys, I have not been able to find any edge at all today. If something should pop later I will be sure to update, but it doesn't look good for a play tonight. Have a good night.

-CJ

MONDAY UPDATE

Hopefully my readers were able to get their bet in before the Magic/Cavs line pushed all the way to 6. We made the call here at MYB with the line still at 4. The worst case scenario was a push for the late bettors. The win puts us back to 11 games over .500 in NBA action. We have 3 days left in the regular season, I will continue to search for some kind of edge, though they are getting harder to find at this point in the season. There is a fairly full slate today so maybe we can come up shooting. I will update later this afternoon.

ORLANDO(-4) @ CLEVELAND

Coach Mike Brown has hinted that LeBron James, Mo Williams, and Antawn Jamison will sit today at home against the Magic. In the Meantime, Magic coach Stan Van Gundy insist he will play his starters all the through the end of the season. It will be tough for the Cavs to compete here against a full strength Orlando team that has been playing extremely well with their top three players on the bench. Also, still no Shaq to bang against Dwight Howard. I expect the line to continue to go up once it is confirmed 100% James will sit.

-TAKE ORLANDO -4

SUNDAY UPDATE

Back in the win column as the Pistons took the Bobcats down to the wire last night in Charlotte and covered the number. That puts us back to 10 games over .500 in our NBA action as we head into the final week. There are 7 games scattered throughout the day with the first game tipping off at 1:00pm. I will have you updated soon, at least for the early action.

Saturday, April 10, 2010

DETROIT @ CHARLOTTE (-7.5)

The Pistons are going nowhere but to the draft lottery, but they are not playing like it as of late. They have won three in a row, with the last two coming against playoff bound Atlanta and Miami. Detroit has also won 4 of the last 5 in Charlotte SU. The Bobcats in the meantime, look like they may continue to rest some of their key players as they have already locked down the number 7 seed in the East.

-TAKE DETROIT +7.5

FRIDAY UPDATE #2

Well, I tried as hard as I could to find an edge tonight but I came up empty. In these last few days of the season many teams that have locked up playoff spots are resting their starters or limiting minutes making it really tough to handicap. We will take a look again tomorrow. Have a good night.

-CJ

FRIDAY UPDATE

We suffered our third straight defeat last night which has put a dent in our recent winning streak. We must always remember this is a marathon not a sprint and we will ebb and flow, just the nature of the beast. Hopefully everyone visiting this site has been able to consistently play all the recommendations, if so, you are still comfortably ahead for the year. We will put our nose to the grind stone again today and see what may be available to us. I will update later.

LA CLIPPERS @ SACRAMENTO (200)

We have a strict trend play tonight. The last 5 games in this series and 8 out of 10 have gone under the total. Let's hope for some uninspired play by two teams going nowhere.

TAKE SACRAMENTO/LA CLIPPERS UNDER 200

THURSDAY UPDATE

We lost our second straight as the Spurs came up short in Phoenix. We have three games scheduled for tonight and I will be back this afternoon with an update. I am aiming for 10 games over the .500 mark for the NBA season so we need to finish well in order to achieve this, hopefully there will be enough viable plays for us as the games get tough to handicap with some teams resting players for the playoff push.

-CJ

Wednesday, April 7, 2010

SAN ANTONIO @ PHOENIX (-6.5)

This is a battle of two of the hottest teams in the league. The Suns won 10 of their last 11 games and the Spurs have won 4 straight and 7 of the last 10. San Antonio has won 4 of the last 5 meetings SU and are aided by the return of Tony Parker. Should be a close one.

-TAKE SAN ANTONIO +6.5

WEDNESDAY UPDATE

All winning streaks come to an end and ours did last night thanks in part to an 8 point second quarter from Chicago. We are still in excellent shape heading into year end for our NBA selections. With 13 games slated for tonight, we should be able to comb through and find a viable play. I will update later.

-CJ

Tuesday, April 6, 2010

MILWAUKEE @ CHICAGO (-5.5)

The Bucks have been a favorite play here at MYB this year, but we may have to take the other side tonight. The Bucks have lost 8 straight in Chicago, to make matters worse they will have to go the rest of the year without center Andrew Bogut. In the meantime, the Bulls have won 4 of their last 5 games as they continue to get healthy and should be ready to play as they enter tonight's game just one game behind Toronto for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

-TAKE CHICAGO -5.5

TUESDAY UPDATE

There are a couple of games I am looking hard at right now and am fairly confident we will have a play by late this afternoon. Stay tuned.

-CJ

Monday, April 5, 2010

MONDAY UPDATE

The hot streak continued yesterday as the Pacers easily took care of the Rockets with a 31 point victory. This makes us 9 out of our last 10. We can sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor today as the NBA schedule is empty. There is a full slate of games tomorrow, so we should have something going then. I will update Tuesday morning. Have a great day.

-CJ

Sunday, April 4, 2010

HOUSTON @ INDIANA (-5)

The Pacers catch the Rockets in the middle of a 5 game road trip. This series has been very lopsided in favor of Indiana, with the Pacers having covered 6 out of the last 7. Indiana is 8-1 SU in the 9 at home and 11-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games. Meanwhile, the Rockets have covered only 1 out of their last 7 overall and are a lackluster 7-14 in the
last 21 on the road.

-TAKE INDIANA -5

SUNDAY UPDATE

The Bucks gave us our 8th win in the last 9 tries as they handled the Suns fairly easily despite losing center Andrew Bogut in the 2nd quarter with an elbow injury. There is a week and a half left in the regular season, hopefully we can continue the winning ways and finish strong. We are up 7.5 units in NBA play so far this year hitting on 56.79%, I will take those solid results. There are 7 games to be played today and I will try to handicap them for you soon, as many of them are early starts. To all my Christian friends, Happy Easter!

-CJ

Saturday, April 3, 2010

PHOENIX @ MILWAUKEE (-2)

The Suns have been red-hot winning the first four games of a 5 game road trip and 10 straight overall. They face a Bucks team that has lost two tough ones in a row against Cleveland and in OT last night in Charlotte. Seems like I am swimming against the tide here, but this is the last game of the Suns long road trip and will be the second game in two nights and as we have mentioned before the Bucks have been under the radar all year and will only be laying 2 points at home tonight.

TAKE MILWAUKEE -2

SATURDAY UPDATE

The winning ways continued last night as the Warriors handled the Knicks fairly easily despite a record book performance by New York's David Lee. Lee became the first players since Kareem Abdul- Jabbar in 1976 to score more than 30 points grab 20 rebounds and dish out 10 assist. There are 9 more games tonight. I will check them out later today and probably will not have the site updated until after 5:00pm.

-CJ

Friday, April 2, 2010

NEW YORK @ GOLDEN ST. (-3)

A battle of two of the worst teams in the league. The Warrirors, however, have won 13 of the last 17 meetings SU. Also, Monta Ellis and center Ronnie Turiaf should return for Golden St. tonight after missing the last game with flu-like symptoms. Also notable, the Knicks Al Harrington is questionable with an ankle. This is the fourth game of a five game trip for New York where they have not been competitive at all and I expect that trend to continue tonight.

TAKE GOLDEN STATE -3

Thursday, April 1, 2010

THURSDAY UPDATE #2

I am looking at the Portland/Denver game and Portland is close to a play but I doubt the line will move far enough in our favor. If you can get Portland +6.5 or better go ahead and play it, otherwise we will pass tonight.

-CJ

THURSDAY UPDATE

As usual, the Bucks gave the Cavaliers fits last night before losing in the final seconds. Quite an amazing feat considering Cleveland went to the foul line 45 times to Milwaukee only 9 times. We would like to keep the hot streak going, but with only two games scheduled it is slim pickings. I will check them over and update late this afternoon.
